Fine Edge is managed by Derek Rye together with Shirley Stephenson who handles sales, and Krish Pather who looks after production. We employ approximately 100 people, many of whom have many years of experience in their respective fields, most having worked together in the former David Whitehead & Sons (SA) Ltd organisation. Each person is required to take a personal responsiblity for the aspects of the business entrusted to them. Quality is paramount throughout. There is an underlying pride in the achievements of Fine Edge since its establishment, and a determination to constantly improve the service which we offer to our customers.
